Bern IlenstineVice-PresidentBern started his career as an ironworker in Southern California. He was the rebar superintendent for Bechtel Corporation on the San Onofre, CA nuclear power station. After spending 16 years as an ironworker in Southern California, Bern moved his family to Yakima where he was the manager of the rebar department for Jerry's Steel for 4 years. In 1986, Bern came to Yakima Steel Fabricators and started the Rebar Division and was a part owner of the company until its sale in 2006. |
