Scott Smith

General Manager

Scott has been at Yakima Steel for 27 years. He spent his first 14 years in the fabrication shop as a fabricator and shop foreman. He has spent the past 13 years in the engineering office where he was a detailer before being promoted to General Manager of the Structural Division. In this position, Scott manages all aspects of the Structural Division. He works closely with contractors and engineers on design-build projects
 

 Randy Dobslaw

Chief Estimator

Randy started at Yakima Steel in 2009, he brings with him 21 years of structural and miscellaneous steel experience. He started as a laborer and worked his way up to Assistant Shop Foreman. From there he moved into engineering, then to estimating and eventually into Project Management. For the last 12 years he has been a General Manager managing all aspects of the steel business, with an emphasis on overseeing the engineering, estimating and project management departments.{put bio here}

Randy Boyer

 Shop Foreman

Randy started at Yakima Steel in January 1994 (14 Years).  Prior to Yakima Steel, Randy served in the US Army as a welder where he was stationed in Korea, Turkey and Germany.  At Yakima Steel, Randy has been a Fabricator, Lead Field Foreman and Quality Control Inspector. He is currently the Shop Foreman. He has AWS certifications for hard wire, stick welding and flux core.

Dennis Jorgenson

 Quality Control

Dennis has been employed with Yakima Steel for more than 6 years in the structural division. Dennis graduated from Walla Walla Community College in 1986 with a degree in welding technologies and blue print reading.  He has foreman experience with a background in steel erection, welding, fabricating, and blue print interpretation. Dennis’s current responsibilities include quality control, welder and CNC beam line programmer/operator. Dennis has obtained multiple WABO and AWS certifications.
